The mythological film is being made in two elements with Ramayana: Half 1 releasing on Diwali 2026 and second half with hit theatres on Diwali 2027. Dangal fame director, Nitesh Tiwari is directing the movies.

Ramayana is one of the most talked-about films at the moment. Made with a whopping amount of Rs 900 crores, the film has an ensemble cast. While we know who is going to play the roles of Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Ravana and Hanuman, let's have a look at the actors who are in supporting roles. — Ramayana is without doubt one of the most talked-about movies in the mean time. In the upcoming movie, senior actor Anil Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Sai Pallavi's father, i.e. King Janak. On the other hand, megastar Amitabh Bachchan will have a special appearance as Jatayu. — Within the upcoming film, senior actor Anil Kapoor shall be seen taking part in the position of Sai Pallavi’s father, i.e. King Janak.
